In this respect, daily monitoring of new domain name registrations is an effective way of protecting your brand on the Internet. The “Brand Alert Essentielles” deliverable is an e-mail sent daily to users including the following:

• domain name creation date
• domain name expiration date
• e-mail of the domain name holder when this information is available in the whois

This domain name monitoring service is called “Brand Alert Essentielles”. More specifically, it covers the following Internet extensions:

• Historical generic Internet extensions (“gTLDs” for “Generic Top Level Domains”) such as .COM, .NET, .ORG or .INFO
• New Internet extensions (” nTLDs” for ” New Top Level Domains”) such as .APP, .SHOP, .SITE or .PARIS
• .FR, the country code Top Level Domain for France (“ccTLD”)

“Brand Alert Essentielles” covers 80% of existing Internet extensions. The monitoring perimeter does not cover other country extensions.

Brand Alert Essentielles” monitoring does not cover NFT domain names. NFT domain names are covered by a specific monitoring service for Web3 extensions called “NFT Alert” at Solidnames.

It’s worth noting that alerts are sent from the day after the domain name is registered. This reactivity is also possible with the French national extension. Solidnames has a paid subscription to the .FR Performance Platinium offer fromAFNIC (the French registry for .FR domain names). The “Brand Alert Essentielles” monitoring service can use the FR Watch and SQUAW services provided by AFNIC.

In addition to new registrations, “Brand Alert Essentielles” also includes older domain names registered in generic extensions whose DNS servers have just been activated.

The results notified by this domain name monitoring service are not available on the Solidnames customer extranet. However, they are reported in unsaved e-mail deliverables.

It’s important to remember that terms that aren’t relevant to the brand you’re monitoring may appear too often in the monitoring. In this case, they can also be excluded from the settings. These configuration changes are possible throughout the subscription period.

Given the essential service it provides, SOLIDNAMES offers “Brand Alert Essentielles” monitoring at a price of €1 ex-VAT / day, or €365 ex-VAT / year. An affordable price, all the more so as the service can be ordered on a prorata-temporis basis.

The service is available for a minimum string of three characters, subject to acceptance by our sales and production department.
