Anthony DON

Anthony DON has been a programmer and technical expert in DNS and domain names for 15 years.

He holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Bordeaux I, devoted to theindexing of visual content, and completed his studies with a post-doctorate at the HCIL at the University of Maryland near Washington, where he led a project toaid the analysis of literary texts. He is co-author of several scientific articles published in international journals and conferences.

Back in Bordeaux, he joined the private sector, where he developed an Internet trademark monitoring platform and the infrastructure of an ICANN-accredited registrar. With his team, he developed an R&D program and wrote several scientific articles on trademark monitoring in domain names.

When he’s not coding, Anthony enjoys cooking and surfing with his family, wife Annelise and daughter Salomé. He also practices Brazilian jiu jitsu and French boxing. Anthony is also interested in teaching computer coding and cyber-security as a reservist with the French National Police.
